Families, friends and staff of Jennings at Brecksville:

Please note that the City of Brecksville is wrapping up the 2025 phase of road resurfacing on Route 21 near Jennings at Brecksville. We received the current update:
Weather permitting, Ronyak will complete the final surface course paving during the week of October 27–29:

  • Monday (10/27): Paving curb lanes
  • Tuesday (10/28): Paving center lanes and intersections
  • Wednesday (10/29): Completing remaining intersections and paving commercial and residential drive aprons.

Additional work will include

  • Cut in loop detectors at SR21 and Sprague Rd.
  • Apply permanent pavement marking
  • Due to the late season, once paving and striping are complete, Ronyak will demobilize the project for the winter.

Work will resume on July 1, 2026, with resurfacing of Stage 2 (St. Basil’s to Downtown Brecksville). Additional
updates and notices will be shared in spring 2026 as construction restarts.
