Dear Residents and Family Members: 

Fall is here, and with that comes the beginning of “flu season.” This year, Jennings is offering three vaccines to residents: influenza, COVID-19 and RSV.

Vaccines have many important benefits, particularly for older adults, and have been shown to reduce the risk of illness and hospitalization. Some of the symptoms of flu, RSV and COVID-19 are similar, such as fever/chills, muscle aches, cough, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, fatigue, and headache. 

We recommend that residents receive vaccines, but strongly encourage you to speak with your physician or pharmacy to determine those that will protect you the best.
