In addition to the regular health care support of licensed nursing staff, our on-site Wellness Center is equipped to meet individuals’ additional medical needs. The Wellness Center offers the availability of specialty physicians, such as podiatry and dentistry, who have expertise in geriatric care. This unique addition enables individuals to direct their ongoing health care and schedule appointments on the campus.

Memory Care

Jennings offers two unique memory care/ dementia care neighborhoods. These secure neighborhoods support individuals who can benefit from the specialized architecture, programs and routines because of mild to advanced cognitive challenges.

Staff members in these neighborhoods create routines in support of individuals’ needs, assist them with simpler choices and provide cues throughout their daily life. Important features such as smaller dining rooms and right-sized gatherings help individuals enjoy their experiences rather than become overwhelmed. These secure neighborhoods offer the same key features as outlined above.

Individuals enjoy activities throughout the day and take advantage of campus amenities and off-campus outings with the oversight of staff escorts. An easily accessible, secure garden area is available to enjoy the outdoors and explore the gardens as desired and with loved ones. Life enriching activities focus on maximizing abilities to help each individual continue to celebrate life.
