A Gateway to Culture program

Presenter Joy Borland from Cuyahoga Community College covers early ceremonial and folk dancers: the two world wars and their effect on the history of dance; the emergence of modern dance; the big band era rock ’n roll; and the inevitable jitterbug. We won’t dance (unless you really want to!) but we may sing about dancing. May be taken along with the Dancers and Choreographers of Stage and Screen.
