Clare: passion for reading inspires her to start a book club

Clare, a resident at Jennings' Garfield Heights campus, is just one example combining her love of reading and desire to meet new friends when she moved to Jennings. She had always loved to read, but often didn't make time for it while she was working as a nurse and leading a busy life. When she moved to Jennings, her granddaughter suggested that she start a book club. "I like to see is the light in people's eyes when they do the discussion part of this; they really kind of perk up," Clare said. "You've got to be careful not to become too complacent, and I think (Jennings staff members) try to stimulate us so we don't get complacent. And I think you can grow."
