Connie: Leaving a legacy to support Jennings

A will is one of the most loving things you can do for the people and places that matter to you. When Connie sat down to write hers, she knew Jennings had to be part of it.
Connie's connection to Jennings runs deep. When she needed rehabilitation, she chose Jennings because she already knew it, and already loved it, through her Aunt Mary.
Mary lived at Jennings for years, and she made the most of every one of them. She won a Wii bowling tournament at 102. She recreated a piece of beloved family art in one of our classes and was named a semifinalist in the resident art show. Her big Italian family filled the dining room on Lent Fridays. She lived, joyfully, to 104.
During her own time in rehab, Connie met Yolanda, a resident who had given every fish in the tank a name and a backstory, and who made their Christmas tree tours together a cherished tradition. She ran into Fr. Howard, an old high school friend, who loves to enjoy nice weather by sitting outside in the sun. She watched her aunt flourish in a place that had become home.
All of it stayed with her.
Connie has included Jennings in her will, and in doing so, joined our Holy Spirit Heritage Society, a community of donors whose generosity will carry Jennings' mission forward for generations.
You can do the same, simply and at no cost. Our partner FreeWill offers a free online tool that guides you through writing or updating your will in as little as 20 minutes. If you choose to include a gift to Jennings, you'll help ensure that what made this place a home for Mary, and for Yolanda, and for Fr. Howard, and for Connie, will be here for the next person who needs it.
