Jennings celebrates Mardi Gras with Mike Petrone Band

Lively music, colorful beads and glittering masks bring an electric energy to Jennings on Mardi Gras!

We turned it all the way up with one of our local favorites - the incredible Mike Petrone Band playing live in our auditorium. From the first note to the last encore, the piano was on fire, saxophone was blazing, the drums were thumping, and the guitar was held rhythm for our New Orleans style melodies. The music was magic to the audience. For some, the music brought them to their feet to dance alone or with partners, and others were clapping and dancing in their seats.

Nothing warms the heart quite like celebrating Mardi Gras surrounded by an amazing community—especially when our senior adults are leading the fun!

Seeing the joy, laughter, and energy in the room is a great reminder that you’re never too old to celebrate, sing along, and let the good times roll. Good times, great friends, and a soundtrack we’ll never forget. Let the good times roll!
