Resident's artwork celebrates nurse's 50 years of nursing
Last fall when a Jennings at Notre Dame Village nurse commemorated 50 years of nursing, Rosemary, a resident, gifted nurse Deb with a hand drawn picture. Rosemary presented it to Deb to honor her and celebrate Deb's love of horses, which she frequently shares with residents.

Deb is an asset to the community through her clinical expertise and compassion. Residents and staff commemorated her milestone with a celebration. Deb studied at Parma school of Practical Nursing to achieve her LPN degree and Tri-C to become a registered nurse. She said of her experience, "Over the past 50 years I have worked with every age group of patient/resident...nursing has many opportunities. You can discover many different specialty areas of medicine and that allows you to learn and grow as a nurse."
Deb has advice to nurses who are just starting their careers: "Try and learn something new every day and most importantly, don’t forget to take care of yourself physically and emotionally."
She takes her own advice in order to have balance. She enjoys taking care of her horses and long trail rides in the Metroparks.
Congratulations, Deb!
