March 22, 2020—Governor Mike DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Health issued an order to stay at home as of March 23, 2020 at 11:59p.m. Please be reassured that Jennings is considered an essential business, and Jennings staff will continue to serve residents with quality, compassionate care. Thank you, Jennings staff, as you continue to arrive every day during this time with your dedication to provide care and services to the most vulnerable Ohioans.
Jennings has also been approved as a pandemic child care service in The Learning Circle, our on-site child care center on the Garfield Heights campus. This means that we will serve children of Jennings staff, local health care staff and emergency responders. This area remains physically separate from where we care for older adults.
