Congratulations to Jennings’ Getting Ahead graduates! Jennings’ new Getting Ahead program is a new series of brief workshops designed to help Jennings staff members discover their potential and remove barriers that might be getting in the way of their dreams. It is just one of the free benefits for staff members.
Our first graduating class at Jennings were recognized at a graduation party. They received a Getting Ahead certificate of completion and many resources and tools to take with them. The graduates highly recommend this class as they talked about the many ways it benefited them. Already they have found ways to simplify and make their lives better. The class helped them understand where they were currently at and where they wanted to go. It helped them to identify their stressors and how to overcome them. It provided them many tools to purchase a car, to get into a different apartment and to find solutions to everyday challenges. Most important is the trusting, lasting friendships they gained with their fellow students who attended the class.
