Jennings staff members recognized at LeadingAge Ohio annual conference

Jennings is proud to announce that three staff members were recognized by LeadingAge Ohio, the state association of non-profit service providers, at the LeadingAge Ohio Annual Conference. Allison Q. Salopeck, President and CEO; Danielle Paluscsak, Director of Life Enrichment; and Lisa Brazytis, Director of Marketing were recognized with awards. LeadingAge Ohio is a nonprofit association that represents approximately 400 Ohio nonprofit care organizations who together serve more than 400,000 Ohioans daily and employ more than 35,000 persons statewide.

Jennings President and CEO Allison Q. Salopeck (left), who was honored by LeadingAge Ohio as Outstanding Executive. According to LeadingAge Ohio, “Allison helped transform Jennings Center for Older Adults into a model CCRC and has been a stalwart member of the LeadingAge Ohio Advocacy Committee and a valued mentor for those entering the profession, showcasing compassion and skill throughout her organization and profession.”

Director of Life Enrichment, Danielle Paluscsak, was honored with LeadingAge Ohio’s Excellence in Caring Award. “Whether creating magical memories through creative resident activities or helping married residents renew their vows, Danielle ensures those they serve have multiple outlets to live rich, fulfilling lives. She also serves as the LeadingAge Ohio Northeast Region Art and Writing Coordinator.”

Director of Marketing, Lisa Brazytis, honored with the LeadingAge Ohio Chair’s Citation Award. “Lisa continually shares Jennings’ commitment to quality, person-centered services through multiple channels. It is her electronic media usage, including inspirational videos, that truly captures the spirit of Jennings’ mission-driven services and her own passion for those Jennings serves.”

In addition to staff recognition, Jennings had much activity at the annual conference of LeadingAge Ohio. Some of our staff members attended this two-day conference (Sept. 10-11), attending workshops, sharing ideas and best practices, and celebrating accomplishments.

LeadingAge Ohio is a nonprofit organization that represents approximately 400 nonprofit long-term care organizations located in more than 150 Ohio towns and cities, as well as those providing ancillary health care and housing services. Member organizations serve more than 400,000 elderly Ohioans daily and employ more than 35,000 persons statewide. Not-for-profit providers of senior services include senior housing, both subsidized and market rate, adult day care, home- and community-based services, assisted living and skilled nursing.　A majority of　members are faith-based and provide many or all of these services.
